【靜紙 THE MOMENT】
JCCAC Festival Feature Exhibition 2021
10.12.2021 – 9.1.2022
Over 20 illustrators/artists joint together to show the public how creative processes can be a therapeutic journey of emotional expression and outlet for self-heal.
In the past two years, travel activities have ceased, and people cannot walk on the streets freely. People have to work or study at home. Everyone must keep a social distance between one another. We can no longer meet up with friends as we please. People from all over the world are changing our habits. Are we used to this state of “stillness” yet?
“THE MOMENT” will be held during JCCAC Art Festival 2021 as a themed exhibition for one month. Each illustrator and artist can create freely in a spacious exhibition area. One of the goals of this project is to showcase the diversified creative capabilities of illustrators/artists, thus, our artworks are not limited to 2D-graphics, but a combination of three-dimensional installations, mixed media, and digital content (animation and multimedia) etc.

Featuring over 20 artists,
with Art Exhibition, Sharing Sessions,
Live Demos and Workshops
- Exhibition -
Showcasing the possibilities of diversified mediums, a mix of 2D/3D installations, mixed media, images and other media.
Social distancing has changed living habits around the world. Worried about the future, many have shown signs of stress and depression. Living in this “moment” where the world seemed almost static in lock down – we all need an emotional outlet – to keep ourselves healthy both physically and mentally. The Artists make self-conversations through pen and paper – releasing emotions as they link up their minds and their hands. Works of art are created through this therapeutic process, and become the exhibits of this show — finding an outlet through artistic creation, seeking resonance through their works — and in turn, allowing the audience to have an outlet for expressing their inner emotions. Even though we are all trapped in this city, we must not lose our faith in life and in ourselves.
