Gallery on the Move -
The Disappearing Scenes
26 Apr - 28 Jun 2020
10 local artists, 10 mobile carts - together formed a mobile gallery where graphical illustrations are transformed into three-dimensional installation art - linking up emotions within the city; attempting to use delicate memories to close up the gap of social distancing that we have been forced to maintain today.
How fast-paced is our world? See how technology is changing our daily life, and reflect what impact a single virus has on the world in just three months. As technology and ideas are constantly being updated, what things and values have been termed obsolete? With “The Disappearing Scenes” as a theme, this mobile exhibition tells seemingly trivial stories about the city in the perspective of ten local artists. What have we lost in our lives? What’s left behind?
Starting from early summer of 2020 and coming forth from gaps through the city, a mobile gallery composed of ten carts will occasionally appear in the crowd, using installation art to connect emotions within the city.
